As the Battle of the Bulge rages on, an American tank unit gets trapped behind Nazi lines. With just hours before the bombs of Operation Ardennes Fury fall, the tank’s commander makes the risky decision to rescue an orphanage.
Tanks and orphans! They even got some World War II rein actors to help, and have a M36 Jackson Tank Destroyer running around. Nazis at the Center of the Earth director Joseph Lawson helms this mockbuster, and contributed to the story along with newcomer writer Stephen Llorens. Ardennes Fury stars William Thomas Stedham as Sgt. Lance Dawson, Bill Voorhees, Tino Struckman, Lawrence Garnell Jr., and Lauren Vera. The street date is November 11, but you’ll probably be able to find it on different distribution channels before that, depending on how it’s rolled out across America.

Lawrence Gamell Jr.
September 24, 2014 at 8:59 amAs one of the leads(Gamell not Garnell), I can tell you this film is, very good and well done. It’s very different and not a mockbuster, as a veteran of acting for over 40 years, I can attest to the statement, it stands alone. What makes this film different in one aspect is the representation of an African American , our great director Joseph Lawson insisted on my character being equal to the other soldiers, in fact my character keeps his stripes in the battlefield, as a Sgt. , most Negro Soldiers would have been demoted. He is also a sniper, I am not sure if the other film have has such representation. My character is also a member of the honored 761st all Black Tank Battalion, only now recently honored in history. As far as I know, yhis representation has never appeared on film. You can check out photos and film footage on the Facebook page and hit like to involve yourself in a vrry unique film event. Thank You. LGJ

November 12, 2014 at 2:27 amHi – yes not a mockbuster but a very good low budget film – great genuine weapons, good acting, good directing, good camera work, good pace, good locations and lighting, script OK – could be better. Fury with Brad has all the advantages of full script development and big budget and fully developed characters who had months to work on their roles but still comes off as a new type John Wayne movie and this one has the advantage of saving the kids as opposed to just kicking ass. I liked your role Lawrence and hope it leads to bigger things – congrats!

April 14, 2017 at 10:22 am“great genuine weapons” Really? I beg to differ when even the DVD cover art shows a Russian T34/85, (which also appears in the official trailer), so you can’t make any serious claim to authenticity. The Germans did use captured Russian tanks but only on the Eastern front, and specifically not in the Ardennes during the Battle of the Bulge.
On the other hand, it’s good to see the 761st getting some recognition at long last, (c.f.Staff Sergeant Ruben Rivers long overdue award in 1997). A better film could be made just focusing on the battalion’s role in the relief of Bastogne. There, the similarly segregated 333rd Field Artillery also played a vital part in the town’s defence, a feat which has suffered the same lack of exposure.
