Wait, it’s still cheating even if I don’t get caught??!


In The Cheating Pact, high schoolers conspire to cheat to get good test scores. But someone ends up dead and another framed. What to do? The answer should be…to cheat death! But it’s not because someone was asleep at the switch. So the plot:

Three high school students, Heather, Kylie, and Jordan, under pressure from their parents to get into good colleges, convince a shy but very smart girl, Meredith, to take the College Entrance Test for them. After Meredith gets a low score on one of the tests, she winds up dead in a mysterious accident, and now all three kids are suspects in her murder. Heather soon finds that she is being framed for Meredith’s murder by the other two and must team up with her mother, Brenda, to prove her innocence.

Don’t these kids know they should have joined a Cheaters’ Club instead? Oh, wait, that turned out bad as well…

My favorite part of the trailer on MyLifetime is that one of the guys looks like a rejected Taylor Lautner clone.

The Cheating Pact stars Daniela Bobadilla, Cynthia Gibb, Paula Trickey, Jamie Luner, Laura Slade Wiggins, Bruce Thomas, Max Carver, and Laura Samuels. Taken: The Search for Sophie Parker is literally the same plot as Taken, except Liam Neeson is now Julie Benz! Holy Dexter, Batman!

18 year-old Sophie Parker goes on spring break to Moscow with her friend Janie Hillman, daughter of the American Ambassador to Russia. When a reluctant Sophie is convinced by boy-crazy Janie to sneak out of the U.S. Embassy and go to a nightclub, the two girls are drugged and abducted by a Russian sexual slavery ring operating in the heart of Moscow. Sophie’s widowed mother, Stevie, is a tough NYPD detective. When she gets an alarming and mysterious call from Sophie’s cell-phone, Stevie takes the next plane to Russia, where she moves heaven and earth, and the Moscow police, on her frantic and action-packed quest to save her baby girl.

See, I do not lie, it’s the same movie, except with a butt kicking woman instead of a butt kicking man. From the director of Who’s Your Caddy?, Taken: The Search for Sophie Parker will be sure to get him back to directing theatrical films. Certainly.

Evil men menace again on Lifetime's Sins of the Preacher

If you are not in the mood for alien robot gators on Saturday September 14th, then perhaps you are in the mood for an evil murderous preacher? Because Lifetime is premiering Sins of the Preacher and is about just that!

When beloved Debbie Martin commits suicide, her preacher husband Andrew grieves alongside the whole town and especially Debbie’s mom, Susan. But then moments long forgotten and incidents about Andrew’s strange behavior start bubbling to the surface. At first Susan doesn’t want to believe them, but when mounting evidence can no longer be denied, she has to admit that she now believes Andrew killed Debbie and sets out to prove it. And so begins a battle that eventually tears the town apart. Inspired by a true story.

If you liked Stoker and wanted to watch a made-for-tv version of a similar tale, then A Sister’s Nightmare is your Lifetime fix this Saturday at 8 (7 central).

Sibling rivalry returns to torment Jane, a young police officer, after her older sister Cass is released from the state hospital for the criminally insane. Cass begins showing an increasing interest in getting back her daughter whom Jane has been raising. Unable to convince others her sister is still dangerous, and wanting to protect her niece, the young police officer takes matters into her own hands and goes after her sister herself.

Yes, Natasha Henstridge plays the criminally insane sister Cass. So I’m just going to imagine this is an offshoot of the Species movies. Do we still use “criminally insane” to describe people these days? Kelly Rutherford, Peyton List, and Matthew Settle also star.

As an added bonus, there is a code that will air during the premiere that you can use to enter in a Lifetime sweepstakes for $1000. Lifetime, the network that bribes– I mean, the network that pays!

Tonight (8-30-2013) is the premiere of 4CLOSED on Lifetime Movie Network. A happy couple buys a foreclosed home, only to find the previous owner is Jamie Kennedy! Worse yet, it’s a crazy Jamie Kennedy! Even more unbelievable, he’s a murderous stalker who wants his house back! Yes, screw the banksters, the real villains are their victims, who then lash out at innocent people who just want to buy a house. It’s Pacific Heights for the new millenium!

As this is Lifetime, we know it’s an evil man doing all this. Evil, evil men.

Social Nightmare slams faces into sinks on Lifetime!

OMG I can’t solve this Candy Crush Saga level! It is such a Social Nightmare!!!


My friends, have you ever had a…..SOCIAL NIGHTMARE??? Someone posted things…on the internet…under your name? And did you get a face full of sink? Lifetime knows, and their new film Social Nightmare will expose the dark side of internet-related sink injuries!

An A-student’s life is turned upside-down when inappropriate status updates and photos appear on her online profile. She claims she is being set up, but no one believes her. Her only solace during this crisis is her mother, although even she admits that she’s not looking forward to being all alone once her daughter leaves for college. Now she must figure out who is hacking her profile before her reputation and chance to get into a good college are ruined. Maybe it’s her ex-boyfriend, a jealous friend competing for the same scholarship or someone far more dangerous than she could have ever imagined.

Gee, who could it be? The mom. It is a mystery we will never solve. The mom. I guess I’ll have to tune in on August 31st on Lifetime to find out who the evil person is (her mom) and find out what mystery is preventing her from changing her password, deactivating her account, creating a separate account, not telling her mom her password, or avoiding all sinks.

(PS the bad guy is her mom!!)
