There seems to have been a whole ton of RiffTrax put out since last time I did an entry on them. Let’s see what I missed thanks to the magic of me finally getting off of my lazy, busy butt and upping the posters!

The third and best prequel gets nailed with a RiffTrax featuring all three of the MST3K guys.

A special DVD edition that I haven’t seen, with Mike and the always funny Fred Willard taking on the classic garbage scow of a film Missile to the Moon.

Nic Cage’s terrible vehicle gets blasted by Mike and his wife Bridget.

The three MST3k Guys take on the first Indiana Jones film. I’ve not seen this one.

Harry Potter movie one gets what it deserves, by all three of the MST3K guys.

Spiderman gets stuck in the MST3K web

The terrible, terrible Transformers movie is riffed and riffed again.

The most recent RiffTrax, and among the best ever. Seriously, this was so awesome! I never thought I’d ever watch this again after suffering through it before, but now I have seen it again with Riffs, and will probably watch it several more times, the Riffs are that good.

I hadn’t written about RiffTrax in a while as I had been busy. They recently celebrated their 1st year anniversary, and just released the movie 300, which was a pretty good riff featuring all three of the MST3K crew, Mike Nelson, Bill Corbet, and Kevin Murphy. I didn’t see 300 until just before watching it while riffed, I found it over the top in a weird way, and can see why certain people really like it. I doubt I will watch it again non-Riffed, though. I did enjoy the RiffTrax, it was well done, and the last of the “This is Sparta!” puns they did was by far my favorite line.

The three will all be back for the next movie, another action flick The Bourne Identity. I have yet to see this one also (but have seen the sequel) so it will probably be entertaining. They must have figured out that almost everyone buying them are young males and thus action films go hand in hand.

The first of the Film Crew DVDs is out, Hollywood After Dark, which is a good film if you want to see sleazy people be sleazy, and Rue Maclanhan strip tease. No one does, so the movie is awful, but the Film Crew movies are superior to the RiffTrax and the disc is a winner. I eagerly await the other three films released. The Film Crew movies were filmed years ago and are finally getting released, but the producer says if they do well than more will be made. So we all know what to do, buy 50 copies each!

RiffTrax for Eragon has been watched. Excellent, excellent, gave that movie what it deserved! Best part was the end credits! Don’t forget to check out our take on Eragon as well.

In addition, RiffTrax live is this weekend, and they won’t be doing Predator, the new movie is a secret, and I will be there Monday to see the second show! Hopefully will have lots to report.
