From Straight A’s to XXX(originally titled just From Straight A’s, but Lifetime knows that we want XXX!) is the story of a college student who made extra money as a porn star until everyone on campus found out and then started acting like jerks who totally weren’t downloading all her films the second they came out. Let’s see, she’s Miriam Weeks who worked under the stage name Belle Knox, now let’s totally innocently Google her name at work and OMG I’m totally fired again! Damn you, Lifetime! Somehow this is your fault and not my own…

Inspired by a true story, “From Straight A’s to XXX” tells the story of Miriam Weeks (Haley Pullos, “General Hospital”), a college freshman at Duke University who turns to porn in order to pay for her tuition expenses. But when a male student discovers who she is and exposes her secret, Miriam is faced with an onslaught of death threats and cyber-bullying. The film also stars Judd Nelson (“The Breakfast Club”), Sasha Clements (“Majority Rules!”) and Jessica Lu (“Awkward”).

Huh, I guess it isn’t another Vin Diesel XXX movie. That’s a positive in my book!

From Straight A’s to XXX stars Haley Pullos(The Misadventures of the Dunderheads), Judd Nelson(The Transformers: The Movie), Imali Perera(November Christmas), Peter Graham-Gaudreau(Pumpkin Pie Wars), Garrett Black(Distortion), Jessica Lu(Skirtchasers), and Jacky Lai(Silent Hill: Revelation 3D). It’s directed by Vanessa Parise (#PopFan) and written by Anne-Marie Hess (Britney Ever After)

Call in a preemptive strike on the Bigfoot Wars!

Bigfoots battle man and try to have sex with hot babes. Which means this could go anywhere from “disturbing subtext” to “Bigfoot erotica” and everywhere in between.

Based on the bestselling book series by Eric S. Brown, this prequel is a terrifying introduction to the classic man versus mythical beast series set in the small town of Boggy Creek. Starring C. Thomas Howell (Red Dawn, E.T.) and Judd Nelson (The Breakfast Club, St. Elmo’s Fire), this horror/thriller version of the classic Bigfoot tale follows a group of teens that are thrust into a nightmare beyond their wildest imaginations when the creatures begin to try and mate with the girls and kill off the guys – and no one believes them, except for Zeke Jesterson (Howell) and Sheriff Jim Taylor (Holt Boggs, Hostage), whose daughter has been kidnapped by the savage beasts. From the horrifying opening scene to the intense conclusion, no one is safe from Bigfoot.

Thanks to stumbling across a gallery of possible DVD titles at Dog & Pony Creative, it’s time to remind the world about Bigfoot Wars. Because, who else will? Okay, a lot of people. But also us at TarsTarkas.NET!

Don’t fret, there is an official Facebook page, which has even more poster images, and the unfortunate news the film has been delayed for a bit. Origin Releasing says a trailer is supposed to drop soon, and we’ll keep you posted

If you are one of those people who questions how steel could possibly melt because it’s mad of metal and see massive conspiracies in the marshmallows of Lucky Charms, then September Morn is the film for you! As the official press says:

We the people demand that the government revisit and initiates a thorough and independent investigation to the tragic events of 911. In the vein of “Twelve Angry Men” this dramatic piece is set with a stellar and award winning cast.

I’ve never seen a drama that made demands before it was even made, but here you go.

The attached stars to September Morn so far are Woody Harrelson, Martin Sheen, Judd Nelson, Esai Morales, Daniel Sunjata, Ed Asner, John Heard, Valerie Harper, Michelle Phillips, Nick Mancuso, and Dick Gregory. Which one of them is going to uncover the conspiracy, I don’t know. I’m putting my money on Valerie Harper. BJ Davis directs and Howard Cohen is writing the script. If BJ Davis sounds familiar, perhaps you remember a little movie called Laser Mission???

September Morn missed out on naming itself 9-11 Angry Men. It also missed out on getting Matt Damon and becoming September Bourne. At least they can still do a Star Trek crossover. Remember, Sisko did 9-11.
