She-Rex, a film by Brett Kelly done in the vein of Queen Kong, is now available as a digital download. It looks like it is only in .mp4 format, aka the iPod/portable device format. Eventually it will be on DVD, but you don’t have to wait if you got three dollars (or $2.99). It runs a whole 38 minutes, which is something Queen Kong needed, to be honest.

Dan and Stan are the world’s greatest adventurers- at least in their own minds! When the two morons are sent to a lost island to rescue a wealthy pair of treasure hunters- chaos ensues. The adventurers encounter a tribe of sexy jungle girls who worship a flesh-eating T-Rex! She-Rex is a tribute to the classic comedy of yesteryear.

She-Rex is a new dinosaur comedy being filmed now, from the team of director Brett Kelly and writer Trevor Payer. The film is described as a cross between Abbot and Costello meets Jurassic Park! Among the cast are director Brett Kelly and writer Trevor Payer- as well as Shawna McSheffrey (Attack of the Giant Leeches), Ray Besharah (Prey for the Beast) and many more.

There are behind the scenes pictures up on Brett Kelly’s site. I am a big fan of dinosaur comedies and hopefully this is worth a few laughs. The photos promise plenty of jungle girl action.
