Insee Daeng is Thai super hero Red Eagle, and there were at least three films starring Thai movie legend Mitr Chaibancha (who died filming the final scene of Insee Thong). There have been a few half-hearted attempts to redo the films since (according to my searches at eThaicd) and several other hero films with looks inspired by the Red Eagle films. And then a big budget (for Thailand) update directed by Wisit Sasanatieng and starring Ananda Everingham was announced, only recently there released a few photos of the film. Or at least art of the film.
