Killer Ending Lifetime

Misery is a Killer Ending on Lifetime!

Killer Ending Lifetime

The killer is now standing on her head while drawing threats in lipstick, amazing!

Writing can be dangerous because writers are always picking up murderous obsessive fans. It has to be true, that’s why there are so many movies about it! Killer Ending is the latest film to feature a writer with an obsessive fan, this one who desires to copy the crimes in her crime novel, but with the writer’s own daughter! Dun dun DUN! Oh, Lifetime!

Agatha Sayers best-selling novel becomes her worst nightmare when her daughter is abducted in a copycat scenario tangled with an obsessive assistant intent on stealing her identity.

Killer Ending stars Emmanuelle Vaugier (Cerberus), Chelsea Hobbs (Confessions of a Go-Go Girl), Kayla Wallace, and Woody Jeffreys. It’s written and directed by Christie Will Wolf (A Cookie Cutter Christmas), who has always produced high quality stuff!

It also seems to be another case of Lifetime having shown a movie already but didn’t give it enough fanfare so is now pretending it is premiering again! So in any event, Killer Ending airs Saturday, June 30th on Lifetime!

Infidelity in Suburbia Lifetime

Infidelity in Suburbia burbs it up on Lifetime!

Infidelity in Suburbia Lifetime

I can’t believe you were infidel, in suburbia, with that guy!

Lifetime has so many movies in its backlog it is doubling up again, we got a two-fer premier this week, with Infidelity in Suburbia followed by Deadly Lessons! Infidelity in Suburbia takes the whole bored housewife having an affair thing to a whole new level, when the guy decides to build a secret prison inside her own house to kidnap her! Holy cats, that’s some nice morphing of various Lifetime plots into something ridiculous. If the film is as fun as the premise, it will be pretty cool!

Infidelity in Suburbia follows the story of Laura (Sarah Butler) who decides to take on a home renovation project to cure her boredom while her husband is at work and son is at school. Sparks fly between her and her contractor Vince (Marcus Rosner), and he soon fulfills Laura’s forbidden dreams. But when Laura decides to end their affair, Vince’s builds a secret room in Laura’s home where he can keep her all to himself.

Infidelity in Suburbia stars Sarah Butler (Nightmare Nurse), Marcus Rosner (Framed for Murder: A Fixer Upper Mystery), Peter Benson (Britney Ever After), Arlo Hajdu (The Flash), Miranda Frigon (Stonados), and Jay Hindle (Hearts of Christmas) It’s written by Christie Will (Baby Boot Camp, but she also directed A Cookie Cutter Christmas) and is directed by David Winning (Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie)

Infidelity in Suburbia premieres Saturday, February 25th on Lifetime!

So You Said Yes gets passive aggressive on Hallmark Channel!

It's true, she said "Yes" to a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch!

It’s true, she said “Yes” to a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch!

I can imagine the title So You Said Yes being said like 30 different ways. Shocked, disappointed, angry, sad, surprised, bored. It could go in any direction. But as the plot involves someone defending her relationship against a future mother-in-law who is a bit nutty, it’s probably said in disappointment with an undercurrent of revenge. Revenge is a dish best served cold, and it is very cold in a bridal shop. Wait, is it cold in a bridal shop? I’ve never been in one. Pretend it is, so the metaphor fits, I’m not going to back to edit this paragraph. We’ve come to far to stop, full steam ahead!

So You Said Yes is part of Hallmark Channel going romance crazy for Valentine’s Day and pumping out a ton of original movies, so enjoy all these romance flicks!

When Annabelle, the owner of a specialty bridal shop, falls for Sam, the son of her fierce bridal shop competition, she must fend off Sam’s mother’s attempts at sabotage to be with the man she loves.

So You Said Yes stars Kellie Martin (ER) as Annabelle Blanche, Chad Willett (Category 6: Day of Destruction) as Sam Taylor, Jennifer Dale (Aladdin: The Magical Family Musical) as Claire Taylor, Rhonda Dent (Insecticidal) as Hilary, Danyella Angel (The Interview) as Rachel, Patricia Isaac (Baby Sellers) as Maya, and Bruce Boxleitner (Snakehead Terror) as Nick Blanche.

Directed by Christie Will (A Cookie Cutter Christmas) and written by Robin Palmer (Geek Charming is her only other credited film). As I liked A Cookie Cutter Christmas despite its flaws, I’m a bit more interested in So You Said Yes than I would be otherwise. At the very least, Christie Will knows how to portray women feuding. Hmmmm, maybe there’s something there!

So You Said Yes premieres Saturday, February 7th, on Hallmark Channel! Now if you excuse me, I’m off to get some Cinnamon Toast Crunch!

A Cookie Cutter Christmas Hallmark

Hi, I’m the Thicke that doesn’t sing rapey songs! Watch me eat lots of cookies!

If you enjoy scenes of Alan Thicke eating various cookies, you will love A Cookie Cutter Christmas! For everyone who isn’t one of those four people, let me tell you about A Cookie Cutter Christmas. Hallmark delivers a tale of female rivalry that becomes a Christmas miracle because that’s just how they roll. Thus, A Cookie Cutter Christmas has us follow a woman who constantly loses to her rival in a battle for the only eligible guy in town as well as learning how to cook. The rival aspect might turn some people off, but it’s not that unusual for life. Some people are constantly comparing themselves to others and have to be better than them. The keeping up with the Jonses mentality can be self-destructive, cause financial ruin, and it’s also pretty annoying when someone keeps beating you again and again. That might not seem very Christmas, but like it or not, competition is a big part of Christmas. Displays, gifts, cards, arguing with relatives over Christmas dinner, the true meanings are often lost, and those with competitive streaks can get sucked right in.

Christie Reynolds (Erin Karkow) has been competing with Penny Miller (Miranda Frigon) since they were children, Penny stealing her verses in a Christmas pageant long ago and the rivalry living on decades later with both women as teachers at the same elementary school forever engaged in proxy battles. Penny Miller seems to win almost all of the conflicts, her students raise more money and she even organizes the big Christmas fund raiser now. Thus, Christie is in a down point in her life, forever stuck in second place.

Worst pot cookies ever!

Enter hunky single dad James Thompson (David Haydn-Jones), whose wife thoughtfully died off long enough ago that dating again is a possibility. His daughter Lily (Genea Charpentier) ends up enrolled in Christie’s class instead of Penny’s, but soon both women are working for the affection of the new hunk in town. James is super charity man, having moved to their small town specifically to start a charitable organization, thus now Penny alters the big fund raiser to help him out. Penny also organizes a bake off competition at the school, the winning teacher getting a fat sack of cash to use for a class trip. Christie enters the contest, both because her students would love a field trip and because it’s another thing to compete with Penny in. The only problem is that Christie cannot cook. At all. Her mom, Bev Reynolds (Laura Soltis), tells her point blank to her face that her food sucks. In the first round of the competition Christie doesn’t even get her food cooked before judging! Thus she’s going to need a crash course in baking, and guess which new hunky single dad in town once wanted to be a chef?

Warm up your ovens for A Cookie Cutter Christmas on Hallmark Channel!

As we all know, the real spirit of Christmas is beating the crap out of your rivals to prove you are the best at everything! On that note, A Cookie Cutter Christmas comes out ovens blazing, as it’s the tale of two arch rivals that have been at each others throats since they were little kids. Now that they are both adult teachers at a school, it is only natural that they argue about baking and attracting the latest single dad in their small town. I guess A Cookie Cutter Christmas takes place in that same small town that Kindergarten Cop does, where there are no single men until one moves into town and all the ladies line up. Christie Reynolds (Erin Krakow, Army Wives) is the lady who usually loses the competitions to Miss Perfect, aka Penny Miller (Miranda Frigon, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show ), but Christmas is the time for miracles. Throw in some Christmas decoration competitions, baking competitions, man-getting competitions, and A Cookie Cutter Christmas becomes the ultimate competition of wills. Or at least two women. Keep an eye out for Alan Thicke, who is collected a paycheck as a famous chef and choking on bad cookies.

A Cookie Cutter Christmas is part of the 12 New Movies of Christmas, in Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas celebration.

Christie Reynolds (Krakow) and Penny Miller (Frigon) have been archrivals ever since a memorable fight over a coveted Christmas recital solo in elementary school. Now adults, they work side-by-side at the same school where they still constantly compete over everything. As the holiday season approaches, the entire school is getting into the spirit with the annual fundraising festival, which will feature an exciting new event—a teacher Christmas Cookie Bake- Off, judged by a tough five-star chef, Chef Krueger (Thicke). Penny and Christie immediately clash over the contest, both wanting to beat the other to win the grand prize, a free class trip. Christie, however, is hopeless in the kitchen, despite help from her mom, Bev (Laura Soltis, “Hiccups”). She doesn’t think she has a chance—until she meets James, a new student’s handsome and sweet single dad. In addition to running a charitable shelter, James is also an excellent cook. As both Christie and Penny vie for James’s attention in yet another aggressive battle, Christie starts to tutor his precious, kindhearted daughter Lily (Genae Charpentier, “Girl Vs. Monster”) and gets to know James outside of school. As their relationship starts to deepen, and James’ baking expertise guides Christie’s cookie creations, Christie’s competitive edge starts to soften. But at the final bake-off challenge, James is finally caught in the middle of Christie and Penny’s petty feud, and Christie comes to realize life’s most rewarding prizes don’t come with a trophy.

A Cookie Cutter Christmas is directed by Christie Will (Baby Bootcamp) and written by Barbara Kymlicka (Death Clique). It stars Erin Krakow, Miranda Frigon, Alan Thicke, David Haydn-Jones, Laura Soltis (Wedding Planner Mystery), and Genae Marie Charpentier (Girl vs. Monster)

A Cookie Cutter Christmas premieres November 9 on Hallmark Channel!
