New Review – Godzilla Island Story Arc 2

We’re pounding these out like nails on a board, because we care. Care about bringing you everything you need to know about obscure Japanese TV shows about Godzilla from the late 1990’s. No one else cares like we do. March of Godzilla Island continues! There is no stopping the March, you can only hope the parade route is close enough to get you some candy.

Godzilla Island Story Arc 2 is episodes 6-15, where King Ghidrah attacks Godzilla Island and must be defeated by the monsters. And then defeated again when King Ghidrah is revived. He does that. Remember to Tsuzuku!

New Review/Theme Month announcement!

Well, after two months off to focus on grad school, we have returned with our March Theme Month. Yes, we know it’s April, but that hasn’t stopped us before in being late to the party. So we’ll continue with March of Godzilla once again, only this one is specialized. Focusing on the Godzilla Island TV series. So it’s March of Godzilla Island! We’ll go over all 22 major story arcs in the 256 episode series. Why? Because we’re crazy!

Check out the banner we made, because that’s what we do:

Read the first part today, but keep in mind it’s an intro set and the story will get better, and longer. It does have more kaiju than you can shake a stick at, even if they are only toys wagged in front of a camera by an unseen stagehand.

Be Back Soon…

Grad school’s getting busier so we’ll be on slow mode for a while now. You probably already noticed the lack of updates on the main site and that will spill over here for about a month, but if something amazing pops up I might make a quick announcement here.

2008 Tarsies Nominations

Once again it is awards season. And once again we are offering our own movie awards, the Tarsies, because we just don’t agree with any of the other awards out there! The Razzies this year have jumped on the “I hate Lohan” bandwagon, and although we are planning to get to I Know Who Killed Me eventually on this site, we aren’t about to make the focus of this award on attacking whatever tabloid actress/singer we can this year. Though the Razzies have been surprisingly not all terrible choices this year. This are real awards for real bad movies, not the kind of crap you expect mainstream masses to embrace.

tarsie2008

This year is the first year we will have an actual award picture as opposed to it being an abstract concept. So the Tarsie this year will be the Idol from Attack of the Beast Creatures! Why? Because we can! Enough with the jibber-jab, let’s get to the nominees!

Worst Movie

Next Nic Cage and the movie by multiple choice.
Epic Movie Recent Movies is a more accurate title, or more like Epic Failure!
I Know Who Killed Me Too terrible to not nominate, identical twins, clothes-wearing strippers, spontaneous limb loss, Lindsay Lohan.
Transformers “My Bad”, robots peeing, secret agent underwear, indistinct robots, confusing action, and a script that made the Bratz movie look thoughtful.
Who’s Your Caddy? For those of you who thought Soul Plane couldn’t possibly be more of an embarassment to black people…
