Justice for Wolverine

Did I say justice? I mean “justice”, because this is some time wasting crap. So the first guy who uploaded the leaked workprint of Wolverine to a torrent site is gonna go to jail. He didn’t steal the workprint, he just bought a bootleg DVD of the workprint. After the FBI wasted 8 months and who knows how many manhours and $millions while terrorists threaten us, they’ve discovered absolutely nothing. Good job!

Gilberto Sanchez will be sentenced on September 19th and faces up to three years in prison, as well as a fine of either $250,000 or “or twice the gross gain or gross loss attributable to the offense, whichever is greater,”

Maybe the FBI should have spent all that time investigating who made that film so terrible!

Here is an animated gif from the workprint I found on the internet:

My favorite fallout from this was the columnist Roger Friedman who got fired after he downloaded it, and he even worked for Fox at the time (Fox put out this film)

Wolverine leaked workprint was the final film with unfinished effects!

Oh, snap! Fox turned out to be a big bunch of liars (no surprise) and their claim that the leaked workprint of Wolverine was missing 15 minutes of footage is being shot down by those who have seen the preview screenings! Well, let’s see how this affects the box office take! Another fun twist is the same movie websites that were pretending to be morally superior in not posting Wolverine workprint reviews (in reality just towing the company line in order to get more exclusives from 20th Century Fox) are now talking like they saw said workprint. For me, not caring pays off, because I have neither 20th Century Fox’s lawyers looking at me nor do I look like a complete hypocrite. Laziness wins again!

X-Men Origins: Wolverine workprint spoojed all over the web

The workprint to X-Men Origins: Wolverine has been leaked on the internet. It is filled with unfinished special effects shots and the studio is claiming it doesn’t have any of the reshoot footage in it. It also seems to be universally condemned as being terrible, so that line about the reshoot footage may just be damage control. In any event, it is out there if you know where to look and like to watch films without the CGI done or the editing finished.
All the CGI in the world won't save this film!
