SciFi Channel upcomings

SciFi Channel will have 36 new original movies in 2009! That’s 12 more than 2008’s 24 originals. Expect lots of monsters and mayhem!

Fred Olen Ray is directing an upcoming SciFi Channel original film called Dire Wolf (it looks like it will keep the title but it might change), which is a werewolf movie that will have lots of gore.

Another one is Rise of the Gargoyle:

Eric Balfour (“24”) stars as Jack Richmond, a struggling author whose outlandish theories on pagan architecture make him the laughingstock of the academic world. But when Jack finds himself face to face in a demolished church with a live version of the stone gargoyles he’s devoted his life to studying, no one believes his story.
