I’d estimate that at least 1.7 million people (a figure I just pulled out of my ass like so many Tea Party organizers) visit Snopes.com every day to settle silly little arguments over some dumb “fact” that someone heard off the Internet that sounds just too ridiculous to be true. Beyond debunking things like Old Wives Tales and rumors about Coca-Cola, Snopes has also turned their attention in recent years to cataloging and analyzing rumors, myths, stories, pictures, and all the rest of it from events like 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina.

And wouldn’t you know it, things have gotten so ridiculously stupid with the Birther/Tea Party movement that Snopes has even dedicated their valuable time to debunking pretty much everything that has come out of the mouth of Orly Taitz, Steve Elliott (the guy in charge of Grassfire.org and Resistnet.com), Rush Limbaugh, various chain e-mails, racist photochops, and everything else those illustrious “Patriots” have come up with. Before getting started I’d just like to point out the sheer number of Snopes posts about President Obama rumors and how 98% of those rumors are marked with a red “this-is-utterly-bullshit” dot (yes it is true that the winning number for the Pick-3 in Illinois lottery was 6-6-6 the day Obama was sworn in as President, why has Glenn Beck not made light of this scandal yet?). But further more, and even more importantly, you can’t trust ANYTHING Snopes has to say about ANY matter WHATSOEVER PERIOD END OF STORY because it’s run by Communist Fascists according to the same Birthers who Snopes likes to debunk.

For whatever reason this “Associated Press article” that asserts that Orly’s Obama eligibility court case is being heard by the Supreme Court just won’t die. For smart people like us at TarsTarkas.net and you the reader it means more eye-rolling and sighing, but for the echo-chamber loving Birther movement it means continually getting outraged by the same fake news article every two months and having to be talked down to by another Birther who found out it was fake the last time the article surfaced. For your enjoyment here is the text of this fake AP article (notice the language in it and how a high school graduate could have written something more convincing):

VERY QUIETLY OBAMA’S CITIZENSHIP CASE REACHES THE SUPREME COURT

AP- WASHINGTON D.C. – In a move certain to fuel the debate over Obama’s qualifications for the presidency,the group “Americans for Freedom of Information” has Released copies of President Obama’s college transcripts from Occidental College . Released today, the transcript from the school indicates that Obama, under the name Barry Soetoro, received financial aid as a foreign student from Indonesia as an undergraduate.

The transcript was released by Occidental College in compliance with a court order in a suit brought by the group in the Superior Court of California. The transcript shows that Obama (Soetoro) applied for financial aid and was awarded a fellowship for foreign students from the Fulbright Foundation Scholarship program. To qualify, for the scholarship, a student must claim foreign citizenship.

This document would seem to provide the smoking gun that many of Obama’s detractors have been seeking. Along with the evidence that he was first born in Kenya and there is no record of him ever applying for US citizenship, this is looking pretty grim. The news has created a firestorm at the White House as the release casts increasing doubt about Obama’s legitimacy and qualification to serve as President article titled, “Obama Eligibility Questioned,” leading some to speculate that the story may overshadow economic issues on Obama’s first official visit to the U.K.

In a related matter, under growing pressure from several groups, Justice Antonin Scalia announced that the Supreme Court agreed on Tuesday to hear arguments concerning Obama’s legal eligibility to serve as President in a case brought by Leo Donofrio of New Jersey . This lawsuit claims Obama’s dual citizenship disqualified him from serving as president. Donofrio’s case is just one of 18 suits brought by citizens demanding proof of Obama’s citizenship or qualification to serve as president.

Gary Kreep of the United States Justice Foundation has released the results of their investigation of Obama’s campaign spending. This study estimates that Obama has spent upwards of $950,000 in campaign funds in the past year with eleven law firms in 12 states for legal resources to block disclosure of any of his personal records. Mr. Kreep indicated that the investigation is still ongoing but that the final report will be provided to the U.S. attorney general, Eric Holder.

Mr. Holder has refused to comment on the matter.

Here is the Snopes page that deals with most of the information concerning the Orly Taitz lawsuit. Despite the fact that this fake story was posted on Resistnet TWO MONTHS AGO (and another two months before that) and received generally the same reaction (you know a story is bullshit when Birthers come out of the woodwork to speak against something another Birther posted) you still get these geniuses inquiring about where they should channel their outrage.

First post, even the dumb ones are inquiring as to where they can find a link to the story. Not because they want to verify where it’s coming from but because they want to chain email it to everyone they’ve ever met.

AZ is concerned about Snopes

Wow when AZ-concerned talks something down you KNOW it must be bullshit. I also don’t have to point out how ridiculous Suzanne Fort makes herself sound. Oh I can’t trust these Snopes people because they might be Democrats, I’ll have to confer with my fact-checker Andrew Breitbart before I can accept this information as unbiased.

The only reason I’ve ever gone to Hawaii was to get some fake documents made up so I assume this too. I mean Obama hasn’t come out against this and said he’s NOT forging his birth certificate while on vacation. I got a funny feeling about all this…

Ah now the truth starts to come out. Unfortunately The Regulator (Oath Keeper) can’t continue with this trend because we all know all he does every waking minute of every waking day is read up on what Resistnet and HotAir and FOXNation have to say.

Snopes is funded by ACORN!

Thank you Jim! Not only do you point out that this kind of thing is STUPID but you also bring to light the fact that this kind of BULLSHIT isn’t being properly moderated. But wait I thought Resistnet was moderating themselves super extra hard now because of this kind of thing. Also Snopes is run by ACORN, no surprise there. I wonder what Youtube video The Regulator (Oath Keeper) learned that from.

I agree with everything Jim says (except the part at the end about shredding this conversation, we here at TarsTarkas.net believe we should archive such a discussion for the good of all man kind and in the name of internet humor!).

And there you have it. All these responses for something that’s circulated SIX TIMES ALREADY on Resistnet and has been debunked by these same amnesiacs over and over again. But don’t worry, everything else you read on the Internet must be true.

[adrotate banner=”1″]Orly Taitz has gone off of the deep end of the deep end that she deep ends off of all the time. In other words, she is nuttier than a peanut factory. She’s crazier than crazytown. She needs help, and not in the form of the multiple PayPal links on her website. Her quest to grab a hold of Obama’s actual birth certificate (and probably eat it ala Red Dragon) is not feeding her desire for fame enough, so she must go a step further. As you will see, she is now tracking down random children and demanding birth certificates. Orly Taitz is not only beyond where the sidewalk ends, she’s walking off the cliff and on thin air, just waiting for someone to explain to her the theory of gravity.

Is the lovable charismatic Barack Obama hiding the fact that he has a girlfriend? Or is he the victim of the ‘Bradley Effect?’ Rumors are swarming that Obama has committed adultery on Michelle Obama with a woman by the name Vera Baker.
Vera baker is a staffer who worked for Barack Obama during his run for the United States Senate in 2004. Rumor has it that Michelle Obama was complaining about the supposed close friendship between Barack Obama and Vera Baker and before the public knew it, she was transferred to work at the Caribbean on the island of Martinique.
The story goes as following: Vera Baker was Obama’s “Finance Director” for his 2004 Senate campaign and made a good buck doing so. Although those who followed the campaign, Claire Serdiuk was known as the finance director on all the postings but strangely Vera Baker was paid too for the same position but not listed. According to reports, Michelle Obama became very angry about something and all of a sudden Vera Baker was relocated to New York. It is said that Michelle was EXTRA angry about something, but it was not specified as to what in the media. And then, not very long after relocating to New York, Vera Baker found herself on the island of Martinique.
The Daily Mail who released the name of the woman has since then said the claim is unsubstantiated but there is a quite a bit of story to go along with what we don’t know. Could this mean that a major American newspaper company will be covering this story right before election? Rumor of Obama’s adultery will most likely have an adverse effect on the election and could come up as the big ‘October Surprise‘.

Who this is and what is going on is not said, but the entire source of this being a living person is just the email Taitz copied and pasted. So basically, you email Taitz random stuff, and she’ll post it on her blog as part of the Obama secret lovechild conspiracy.

So let’s put this into perspective. Barack Hussein Obama had an affair in 2004, the child was born in 2004, and then they faked the death of Renee Abena Obama so Barack Obama could run for president as a non-American citizen. The entire proof is an archived newspaper article and a random email. Time to pack your bags, Obama!

Remember, if you see an children…demand to see their birth certificates!!!

Orly Taitz goes to court..

[adrotate banner=”1″]Dr. Orly Taitz Esq. PhD is in court again for another Obama isn’t a citizen because he was born on Neptune or something lawsuit and the whole thing is a laugh riot. Professor HM Orly Taitz, TE is something you can’t make up. No one would believe that this is actually happening, but it is, and it is hilarious. You might wonder why Orly Taitz is on this crazy crusade, but the giant DONATE buttons on her official website might be a clue.

The previous Kenyan Birth Certificate that Taitz publicized all over the internet turned out to be a giant fraud (even though pictures of it are still up on her official website) she now has a new Kenyan birth certificate for Barack Obama, despite the fact it used American-style dating systems (instead of British) and the area mentioned wasn’t a part of Kenya back in 1961. But don’t worry, it has a footprint on this Birth Certificate, and it is a black footprint, therefore proving everything!

The judge is Judge Carter, who is becoming a minor celebrity on right-wing websites because WorldNetDaily and other sites have declared victory, even though Judge Carter just did some procedural stuff that is standard. Watch how quickly Judge Carter becomes the new demon of the right the second this case goes down the drain like all the others.

Orly seemed not to have learned her lesson from the last time. When she came into the courtroom there was another hearing still going on and — either still going on or they were waiting for it to go on — and other counsel were at the counsel table, and she went up to the counsel table, as if she was going to sit down, and had to be told again “No, wait your turn.” So she had to go sit back down.

Orly kept wanting to talk about other issues, but the judge kept pulling her back saying, “This part of the hear is about Robinson and Drake.” The judge told her, “You are about to cause a huge delay, and cause a procedural quagmire because of your refusal to work with each other. Because of this dispute between you and Kreep, you are going to delay everything. “Is this about you representing your clients or is this about you, personally? Orly interrupted him, and he said, “I know you always have the answers, but you’ll get a chance to talk later.”

He then directed Kreep and Orly to move their chairs closer together and said, “You need to work together.” They moved the chairs together, and he said, “I now see the two of you as one.” He then assured Orly about her concerns by saying that he would not preclude her from presenting different or contradictory theories. He said, “You’ll each get to have your say.”

She then asked whether they could have testimony from Lucas Smith (who was in the courtroom.) The judge did not like that at all. He said, “You’re bringing a witness in here without notice? This is surprise and ambush. You are not going to do that. According to waveydavey, he was not at all happy. West and DeJute also objected, strenuously, saying they had heard nothing about her bringing a witness.

Orly then said she “has a witness here in the courtroom today who is afraid for his life. Let him testify now,” and if you decide it’s not appropriate we can always strike the testimony later.” West objected strenuously saying “This is sandbagging, surprise,” and all of that. And the judge said, “I don’t intend to let two witnesses come in on the fly without notice. The judge then said, “Usually this kind of thing would be accomplished by deposition.” Then, in waveydavey’s view, he started playing devil’s advocate with the government. It seemed to waveydavey that he was playing devil’s advocate, not that he was really serious, but what he said to the government is, “Why can’t they just do a deposition since the guy is here?” — (waveydavey said everyone seemed to be under the impression that Smith had just flown in from Kenya) — so the judge was like, well, he’s flown in, why couldn’t they just do a deposition. At that point the Orlybots loved it. There was general clamoring in the courtroom such that the bailiff had to ask for order in the courtroom. West, of course, didn’t like that idea of depositions.

Orly came back and said, “I’m getting death threats every day. I get death threats on a daily basis.” She referred to Lieutenant Harris — the passport guy — as someone who came forward with testimony and was killed. She said again, “I have a witness here in fear for his life. I asked for a hearing behind closed doors or voir dire because he has to be able to testify. It has to be done. I leave it to you to decide the best way.” The judge said, “We need an orderly process. Each side must have a chance to respond,” and that was the end of that.

Once again the judge praised the government for helping to nurture the process so that issue could finally be dispensed with. He didn’t take Taitz to task, but continually praised the U.S. for bending over backwards to help the other side.
