Yes, you can’t have a film where a guy turns into a Hulk monster with serious dubbing! This film was interesting enough it caught my wife’s attention, something these kung fu flicks rarely do.

Good eye! It looks like War of the Zodiacs reuses costumes and props from a whole batch of these Polly flicks. Hopefully a copy isn’t too hard to track down.

Great pod-cast! The rubber octopi in “Little Hero” are also very similar to those featured in “War of the Zodiacs: Zodiac Fighters 2″ during yet another beach fight scene.

@MarkusWelby1 – I heard the original cut was over three hours, so the soldiers were probably dropped for time. Hopefully the DVD will be packed with deleted scenes.

@3guys1movie – Paltrow was really really good, and I also don’t care for her much in real life

Love this movie. Saw a different version of it called “shaolin Fox Conspiracy”, which had different dubbing and wasn’t as funny. I live the fact that our hero sounds like Snake from The Simpsons.

nice write up. Despite my disdian for Paltrow, I thought she was great in this film, in her limited screen time. Was suprised I walked out of the theater singing the praises of the Hulk.

Nice write up! There was an article where an actual construction contractor estimated the damage to be about 160 billion dollars. The typical military seemed strangely absent from the melee in the end although they are pictured fighting in the trailers. I wonder why they got cut?

The problem with Black Widow’s character is she’s the only major female character, so the vast amount of time her character spends in skimpy clothes or lying/manipulating people becomes concerning. I am not opposed to a little fan service now and then, but there should have been more ladies in capes wandering around to balance it out. Peggy Carter from the Captain America movie managed to be tough and sexy while wearing a military uniform. The supporting female characters help lessen the blow, but the major point is still there.
